On the trend: Hair Chalking

My Husband went to Korea and brought me back the latest hair chalking techniques.

The latest hair trend is 2 toned hair style, like the French termed "ombré" features darker hues at the roots and gradually lighter Colour at the ends! It has been spotted in Runway e.g. Marc Jacobs and many Top Celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Chanel Iman , Drew Barrymore and more......
Celebrities love Hair Chalk because it makes a Dip Dyed Effect.

Hair chalking can be very fun and creative! This is the good time for us to pick up the trend. To be a fashion savvy, one of the way is to use soft pastel chalk as the Colour would not be permanent and you could use whatever Colours you like.

It is a good way to twist your look and children  for a party, dinner hangout or a special event!!!!

This dip dyed style is so easy to achieve by DIY.

Things you need:

A good quality pastel chalks - mungyo brand. Do Not use oil pastel because will stain your hair!

A spray bottle of water ( I preferred wet with my hands)

A straightener or curling iron

Rubber gloves

A old towel or t-shirt that won't mind chalking

Step
1: Get a small strand of hair, spray water on the area you want the colour to be.  

2: Chalk your hair with red, purple, orange,...green or any colour you like.

3: Wait for your hair to air dry. Use the curling or flat iron go over each colored strand. This seal in  the colour and will last longer. To get rid of the color, simply wash your hair with shampoo and condition and the color will be gone.
