On the trend: Neckline

It is a great time to leave your necklace/jewelry at home and allow “neckline” to do the talking!

In 2012, we can see the runway was dominated by “neckline” be it embellished, studded, jewelled, patterned, layered, contrasted or cutaway.

To be on trend, we can buy new top/dress with embellished neckline or be a savvy –recycle the existing tops / dresses we have by adding new type of “accessory” as below:

How to adapt this style into your look?

Tip 1: To enhance your look

Black top is not my best colour since I am a cool summer and I am 7 months pregnant in this picture, this neckline instantly accessorizes my look :)
                                                    

Tip 2: Sophisticated look

If you would like to look taller, remember the clothing rule "1:9"! Focus on your neck by layering the neckline on your top.

In addition, the legging that Debbie is wearing will make us look slimmer and taller. 

                                               

Tip 3: match with collar top

You might think if you could match with collar top?? Yes, only if your neck is long and you need more volume on top , you can wear neckline with collar top to flatter your body :)

                                               

Tip 4: Young and feminine look

If you are girlish style , this pattern suits you well :) Or you would like to feel young and more feminine, this neckline will give you a lift.



Tip 5: Trendy look

Metal feel neckline will make a trendy look! Wearing it with leather garments you will create rocker chic look.

The neckline is near to our face, thus is important to select the right metal and colour for your skin tone. Basically, warm tone person go well with gold and silver flatter cool tone person.
